I was trying to say something in class today and it literally came out mahna-mahna. And now I have this song STUCK in my head. I loathe this song.

Other than that it's been a pissy day. We can't make this new mother fucking block schedule work unless I go 6 hours without a break, no lunch, no nothing (and that goes for our students too) because they robbed us of 2 time slots.

Then just as I was getting into the car it started raining sideways. I think it messed up my car's electronics. Because all the way to Jackson I had 'side airbag off' messages on the dash. Great, raining like hell and my protector is off duty. It stopped that one the way back so I think it just got wet but i'll be keeping an eye on it.

SO MANY fun things to do in the next two weeks but for me it's finals.
I saw two students in front of my office today (young lady and a young African-American boy I've never seen before) She had a drop sheet. I thought she wanted me or GA whose office is next to mine but no they were looking at my anime pictures. I told them I was the gaming/anime advisor and they were welcome to join us. I guess they came once but it was all gaming and they felt awkward then two of my students showed up one with anime hair and the other in a Blue Exorcist shirt that matched my door and I'm like mondays are 6 kids. We show anime. Join us.

Had a very bad night last night. My sugar was well over 400, the neuropathy ate my foot alive, i took extra insulin. At 330 AM my sugar crashed to double digits and I had to spend an hour eating things and watching it so I could go back to sleep.

And in the WTF deparment WTF was she thinking middle school teacher gives kid a lapdance IN class. This one's in your state, 0_mother_0

Speaking of WTF in schools, Melbourne FL school just was told they had to stop jazzing up the grade schoolers for the Fcat tests by giving them mountain dew and candy.(I laugh I have friends and family in Melbourne)

good lord. yeah, that sounds like Houston all right. and it sounds like the new news media had a lot of fun with the story, as evidenced by this centrally located sentence "It’s not clear if the kid enjoyed the lap dance. However, he admitted that he did slap Smith’s ass a couple times." well, hell. slap dat ass!
