The dentist
May. 19th, 2014 10:38 pmWent better than expected, given how bad the morning had gone or in fact even sleeping. I couldn't fall asleep last night. I was wide awake until 2 then tried to sleep and kept getting twitches that woke me up. Then no more than 10 minutes after falling asleep I woke up sitting straight up almost screaming, heart pounding. I don't remember a nightmare but man.
Then this morning I put my eyeshadow on...missed the lid and got it on my contact. No clue how. But at least the dentist wasn't too hideously painful. He had to drill out some old fillings and replace them. Ouchie now but not bad.
In good news, my back is much better today. I started taking my anti-inflammatories. helps to take the proper medicine. Mom's foot is regaining feeling which is a mixed blessing. it's great in that she will get use of it back but now she can feel how badly she messed it up.
I did some cleaning in the living room, things that haven't been cleaned in forever. It's very obvious to see how the disorder in my head becomes the disorder around me. While I never liked to clean, it's usually not THIS bad. My goal is to get it to a point that when I come back I can maintain with a simple schedule. It was nice to see my things shiny and straightened up. I found several things that can just go away as well.
I am distressed, however, to learn that they stopped recycling in Jackson. I could go 5 miles more to Wellston (and I may) because otherwise I would have a FIFTY mile round trip drive to recycle in Gallipolis and that's not going to happen. I loathe throwing out what doesn't need to be tossed.
Also wanted to share this LGBT market which is open to all sorts of stories and they don't HAVE to be erotica/romance which is great.
And ELD gave me this interesting article - George Takei on breaking barriers
Now THIS will get me back to FL.
