I decided I MUST WEED. I really did. It's to the point I might just be better off digging up the lillies and hostas and tilling it back to bare earth. Sigh. I hate that I have to keep trying to kill an elm but it's growing into my wall and years ago I begged landlord to remove it. He didn't so i keep hacking off branches.

Sadly 1 rose is totally dead. The second rose is mostly dead but hanging on. The butterfly bush went from 7 feet high last year to entirely dead. It's a bit depressing.

I was depressed most of the day. Just random floating weepies. God knows why. Maybe because I woke up more tired than I went to bed.

For Everyone Whose Sexual Awakening Was Caused By David Bowie In "Labyrinth God knows the Goblin King was hot though I HAD stricken Bowie's jiggling junk from my memory until evil_little_dog took advantage of me being ill while at a mutual friend's house to make me SEE it again.

I even washed some windows today but not much else got cleaned. I mostly sat here doing nothing but staring at the screen and trying to avoid my various flists (I don't really want to talk about the idiot who went on a stabbing/shooting spree because girls didn't give what he wanted).

Looked at houses. Found a couple more. Toyed with looking at job ads.

Hee, I remember one woman who saw Labyrinth with us complaining that Bowie's vest was too short. A couple of us immediately retorted, "No it wasn't!"

The ants are in one of my iris beds. I'm not going to put poison there, for obvious reasons.

I've been putting down borax where they're entering the house, but that's not stopping much. Mom thinks I need to lead them somewhere else and send them to another part of the yard, but I'm not sure what I could send them to, you know? Since I'll be digging up the irises in the semi-near future for replacing/sodding my back yard, maybe that'll get rid of them.

yuck. grasses are the worst. I think we have the worst flower bed weed combo possible:
centipede grass (which literally unzips flower beds)
nut grass (which you only encourage with pulling)
clover (seems friendly enough. IT ISN'T.)
and running bamboo (from a neighbors yard. it is the devil.)
