Headed to Half Price books
Jun. 19th, 2014 11:47 pmwith nine bags of books, cds, vhs tapes and dvds. Still only got 10$ out of it but that's probably the most I've ever gotten. Of course I spent 27$ buying books, an animated version of the Fantastic Four (who knew that existed?) and a hidden object game because I'm addicted to them.
Speaking of which either Criminal Case on FB was having a special or has glitched but the points needed to earn a star on their hidden object scenes was very very low. Cool.
I went to BW3's and this one wasn't like the one in Gallipolis (or maybe the one there is too poor to be like the others) This one in a very confined space since it was a Buffalo Wild Wings in a tiny strip mall, had THIRTY flat screen tvs tuned to various sports. I'm so glad I was alone because I wouldn't have been able to hear a companion. And then my tablet which was been so good turned on brough up my book then died. I had to go out to the car to get a real book.
Mom saw the neurologist. No good news there. There isn't much they can do. They're going to try an AFO and a nerve stimulator but there is nothing much to do but sit and wait and since it's her right foot she can't drive. Needless to say it's depressing and again I'm still rethinking my own surgery in light of it.
The hospital called me today having a fit about me not having an EKG. My surgeon didn't write for one since I'm under 50 but I'm diabetic. they might insist on it on monday.
I'm still struggling with classes and editing. I just have no motivation.
