I was so up on going to Madison, and don't get me wrong I still am (I've been re-reseaching my stomping grounds for a story and I am homesick for how cool that city really is). I might even get to stay in the cool B&B and if not there's the cheap-o KNights inn. The problem is it's snowing like mad here and worse in Madison. I'll be lucky to leave here until Monday which is the only day off my friend down there has. And oddly, I'm not that eager to meet up wiht her. It's not that I don't want to see my friend, I just feel like being alone. I get this like, not really depressed just sorta blue.

I missed out on yesterday's thanking of Unsung Hero's mostly because I was getting ready to leave and doing resume stuff. So I'll do two today.

For Yesterday I wanted to thank all those running award sites. You make us feel great about our art, whether its fiction, art or videos. I've been in fandom a long time but the internet has changed fandom, allowing for things like this. I feel more appreciated for my work now than I have in the past 15 years. This is great. So thanks to all of you for that and especially for those on my Flist who run awards so check out bashipforever , goddess_loki, 50thousandtearz (who is looking for someone to take over her awards, so if you can help her out), dragonydreams, lynnluvsjamey , marenfic, and mrsdrake . Thank you very much. And I'm sure they're always looking for nominations and judges so...

For today I wanted to thank the video makers because well I enjoy them and I can see the sheer amount of manhours that goes in to making a 3 minute video. Here's some of my favorite sites.
