There was an art show at the Greer Museum on campus today. It was the prints of a Welsh artist, Andrew Baldwin. You can see his stuff here. he was a nice man. I really liked a couple of them very much. But I don't have nearly 300 just lying around. sigh. Still it was nice to see it.

I see I’m not the only one NOT liking the new Doctor So let me talk about about last week's Listen.
I'll get to the cut header in a moment.

Actually I liked parts of this. I have HAD that dream. To this day I don't dangle limbs over the edge of the bed in the dark. I just don't. I rarely store anything under there. I don't like under the bed. I could even handle Clara talking to the Doctor when he was a child but that just brought up more questions than it answered.

I can't even blame Capaldi for my dislike of his incarnation. I think he's doing the best he can with some very questionable storylines. I know a lot of people are just turning this off mid-show. It's like Moffit has never written the Doctor before which is just bizarre. It feels like he's reaching back in time to try and recapture the earliest incarnation's feel and failing miserably.

And I do want to know if Jenna wanted to leave the show before or after she saw the hash they've made of Clara. I've never been a huge Clara fan but neither have I disliked it until this year. As the article pointed out this is TWICE she has mocked a war veteran and tried to play it off as a joke. Yeah because PTSD and having to kill people is such fun. Bet Dan can't get enough of it.

I have no interest in this relationship. They have zero chemistry together and now I know they have kids down the road. Whoopie.

I did like the first half of the episode if nothing else but I'm rapidly running out of goodwill for the show.
