I haven't been into the camp grounds the landlord has for a couple years. I mean, why would I? He seemed shocked by that but seriously WHY? I don't hang out with campers. I knew he had built a couple hunting cabins too. What I didn't know was just how MANY he had built or that there is a toilet there, showers and a washer/dryer. There is something there like a quonset hut. I have to go up a one-car wide path to the storage next to the hut. There is NO place to turn around, Joy. I can't back out because everyone down this path has ginormous trucks taking up most of the road. It was a bitch to jostle my car back out of there. And I had to because there were THREE with no locks.

Luckingly LL was there and I said come show me. 'Well she still has her stuff in it' I guess this lady is semi-homeless etc and I feel bad but he said it was just a piece of furniture last week when he said 'can I have til monday?' Well it's a week later and he asks the same thing? It's FULL. I mean my god, where is it going? I told him if it's not empty by next week I'm taking my stuff to Jackson (he doesn't want that)

Now my arm hurts like hell from packing up these books. I found another dozen to just toss out. I found things I didn't even realize I had, like 20 year old bridal shower invites and all the graduation cards I got from medical school (I'm still keeping those). This place looks like a dump because I've gotten as far as I can go without moving things into a storage unit. sigh.

My eyes are half swollen shut and my skin itches like mad. I think I'm going to have to go on allergy shots. But at least I've made progress. not nearly enough and I have NO idea how I'm getting anything out of here and into the car.

And of course Mom yells at me that I'm not doing enough to clean. The truth is, that's half the stress. I know that no matter what happens and how clean this gets it will be the first thing she says 'this place is a mess.'

The rest of the day was spent on a day long LGBT celebration and promotion on line for Jana.
