Or should I resurrect Las Vegas? It needs to be MORE in my story. I can't have such a cool city and do so little with it. I decided the vampire bar is down near Freemont. I tried to Google Earth it but my internet has known issues so here's a big middle finger on that one. I couldn't see much. I was trying to figure out where Luc is other than 'next to the Golden Nugget.'

I need other things/ways to bring Vegas into the story (

wildrider any thoughts other than 'don't copy Sean Patrick' which Arrigo kinda did whining about looking too young to be in the place.)

Someone on the forum answered my question (well 3 people did but didn't directly answer me) and suggested the harshness of the neon and flashing lights, smells etc of a city like Vegas would be hell on a fledgling vampire's keen senses. Yes, why didn't I think of that, especially since I have the werewolf whining how useless his sense of smell is in a sea of humanity.

I had a minor epiphany on how to put Luc into Eleni's clutches. I originally thought he goes out with her after she asks because he's trying to prove something to his family but today I was thinking he's mad at Arrigo, he's been in a terrible fight with his father and has a concussion and he goes with her just to get out of there. What do you all think?

I wish I could go to the night of writing dangerously because I NEED to get my ass moving on this story. But i have FOUR exams to write for the beginning of the week. Pouts. Oh well it's supposed to snow any how.

So this happened yesterday. One of my students who has both physiology and parasitology with me was asking what she missed in parasitology yesterday and I replied you missed the pictures of the forty pound scrotums (you can thank Wucheria Bancrofti for that one). That got the attention of the rest of the A&P class (all male). One asked me what does a scrotum weigh?

I'm not entirely sure but I'm not getting out a scale so we can find out. Well...okay there IS a penis length study. I suppose we could do a scrotum weight study, breaking it down into age groups etc. I can just see me pitching this research project to the group. I told this to a coworker today. I thought he was going to die laughing. 'You are NOT using the chemistry scales for this! There's not enough fantastik in the world for that.'
