Nano help!

Anyhoo, before I go back to making exams :( I came to the point where Luc has gone off with Eleni and she's going to convert him.
Problem is, I wrote that scene back in 1993 after returning from New Orleans (back when this was set in New Orleans when there was only one famous vampire from there and not dozens). Back then, Eleni lures Luc there on a date (because in the original version Luc's sexuality was merely questionable because 20 years ago publishing LGBT stuff was something fantasy/SF publishers didn't do much of and some even actively discouraged). Eleni had sent an invite to Arrigo to show up because she laid a trap for him. She tasered him after he saw she had turned Luc into a vampire then ran off with Luc later to abandon him (and the short story ended with Arrigo finding him). St Louis #1 cemetery has been converted to Vegas's abandoned housing plans after the 2008 bust.
Eleni doesn't want to kill Arrigo. She wants him to suffer (and believes he hates his own kind so she thinks this will make him suffer). But here's the thing, I did have her ask him out once but something interfered. Now she finds him after his father basically "pistol whipped" him with a beer bottle and fractured a bone in his cheek. He had just had a major fight with Arrigo and has nowhere to go. She promises to help fix him up and in his concussed state this seems like a better option than going to his father's home where he lives (Luc is young, 22, 23, and his father ended his education at age 12 so he's rather dependent and not really a forward thinker).
So long story getting even longer, my question is does Eleni still lure Arrigo to the place and taser him and abandon Luc? Now that I'm not 20 something and naive, that sounds a bit contrived and/or dumb. Would I be better off having Arrigo track Luc down on his own and save the tasering for a later meet up? (because that might give Luc a chance to finally stand up for himself if Arrigo is put down).
Thoughts? Suggestions? Anyone want to read a vampire story after November? (Yes, I'm shameless).
