The Day After Christmas

I spent it watching the Dr. Who marathon (and trying to ignore some of the more unhappy people on FB who hate the more lighthearted approach of Matt Smith and David Tennant and want Capaldi to be even darker).

I got some cool things. A Dr Who throw, a Captain Levi T-shirt, lots of books and dvds. My brother got me a dust buster (I had asked for it) and the parentals are theoretically getting me a TV. It's just a matter of me being able to actually arrange for a drop off time (which is apparently pissing off Dad who thinks I can go and put it in my car and lug it to the apartment because the new flat screens are light, forgetting all I have is a wal-mart and I won't buy from them. Also got Blue Diamond (chips) earrings from Mom from Macy's big sale and a blanket for the bed since mine dry rotted.

I also got cards from kiramaru7, helliongoddess and a couple others who I'm now forgetting (and they're displayed downstairs).

Tried to write. Had some success.

Tomorrow is round two with Prejudice girl. Luckily she left early last night. Hoping I can just avoid her tomorrow.

yay new tv! will there be anyone to help with the install? those can be a pain to hang

and I love dustbusters! the newer ones pick up better, and they are perfect for small clean up (after art projects I use them on the table to clean up all the little bits of paper - and every time these knuckleheads knock over their edible grass tray and the little beads go everywhere, etc etc)

Yeah I want it to clean the couch and other things that my vacuum does a crap job of.
