The Good , Bad and the Weird as hell

cornerofmadnessThe Good - The University of Rio Grande called me to set up a phone interview. i'll call them back tomorrow. It's in Rio Grande OH fairly near the WV/KY border. (yeah that's Dueling Banjos you hear). Finally someone's taking an interest in me.
The Bad - The orthopedic surgeon wants me to have an MRI on my ankle like yesterday on my foot. he's trying to shove me into the overloaded hospital system to get it down by Monday.
The Weird - I'm in the kitchen cutting up berries when I hear the distinctive noise of rodent teeth on wood. I turn on the outside light and there's a porcupine big enough to saddle chewing through the garage. I knock on the window and scream at him and the poor thing just shriveled up all scared. I felt bad...almost. I kept knocking and he finally ambled off. He'll be back. He ate the rock salt in his way, the fat bastard
The Weirder - My dream last night. I was dreaming I was asleep lying on my side in bed withmy hands dangling over the edge (I'm paranoid about that) when something grabs them hard and 'wakes' me up. I manage to get the light on and I'm in my grandmother's home and clutching my wrists is this larval looking female humanoid with no eyes a tuft of blonde hair and fangs that she's trying to kill me with. I try pulling her jaws apart to fracture them (WHY does that act keep popping up in my dreams). I can't do it and I can't kill her. Then one of my best friends, Shari is there and we're trying to kill this larval/baby thing and then i wake up for real.
And for the real reason I never left ELD's house
