Storyof my life
Apr. 13th, 2005 07:19 pmYou need to be caller #5 to win, I'm caller #4. Sigh.
Got me a new mouse, it doesn't even have a roller ball. Wheee I've entered the 21st cen. It's clearing up some of the computer issues. But Ilike how the directions tell you to do Step #2 before step #1....
In better news, I call the orthopedic surgeon again, irritated because the air cast is making the pain worse and I have a month to go before I can see him now. So, I get to talk to one of his partner's assistants instead of HIS and she's like why did they put your MRI so far in the future. There's openings on saturday...there's what? She immediately put me in for this saturday and I go back next friday to talk to him, thus shaving 2 weeks off the time.
My phone interview is tomorrow. Hope with me that they won't want me to fly to OH for the second interview (I'm hoping a tape of me teaching will be enough. SOme do that, and some insist on seeing you. I can see why but every time I've gone it's been a HUGE assed waste of time)
ETA - My boss kindly taught the last hour of my class (on the very hard subject of primary and seconary immune responses) while I screamed at the orthopedic surgeon's office
