I hate being right sometimes
Jun. 2nd, 2015 10:38 pmMom had a spot on her leg last summer that I thought was from the new AFO rubbing on her leg. In march, it was bigger. I said 'that looks like skin cancer,' and made her go to the dermatologist. I was right. It is. It's a superficial squamous cell which is very slow to metastize. The doc is giving her some kind of cream for it but mom couldnt' remember the name. So all in all it could be worse.
As for my ankle, it had to be the heat and humidity. As soon as the temp dropped into the 50s and 60s in the last two days my ankle and foot aren't swollen at all. That's both disconcerting and comforting all at the same time.
I took today to work on Blood Red Roulette and to whip up some soups (Italian Wedding soup and French Onion soup).
This was a 1920s shopping mall (neat) that will become a Dave and Buster's soon since they were the only one to agree to not rip apart the art deco facade.
The five and dime
I thought this one was pretty
I'll be telling you more about this picture if/when I ever get those ghost pictures done. My dad liked this one when he was stationed at lachland AFB

such a pretty ticket box
The Nix medical center, another one I'll tell you more about on the ghost tour. A beautiful 1920s building, built as a hospital and still IS! Carol Burnette was born here.

A close up of the pretty

Now I want you to send them there. XD Perhaps there's some otherworldly activity in that pretty hotel, or the theater? And maybe you can somehow weave that hospital into it? XD
