cornerofmadnessIt was a surreal weekend. I debated talking about it and then decided, I hate politics so I'm going to leave it lie.
I didn't write nearly at all. I've been very tired all day so mostly I worked on exams, grading some, making others.
Made up wish lists for the holidays and planned some Thanksgiving menu items since Mom is getting her wish. I'm going home. Dad said I wasn't welcome, only Kanda was (he's joking). He told me to send Kanda walking his way then we decided that was too short a distance to walk any of the blubber off that cat.
Another part of my funk is my runaway sugar this weekend. Oh well. I DID however get all the Halloween and the remnants of the summer planters put away in the storage because it really was a pretty day.
Bought some gifts at Kroger's including an R2D2 stocking but that's for ME. It's going in the office.
Again my main accomplishment for the week was FINISHING Blood Red Roulette and writing over 30K before Day 14 of nano.
I could use some help. tell me what you’d like to see in a Bear shifter novel set in Deadwood
Nano snippet - Kaleo reached out and touched Aneurin's hair. “It's snowing on you. I like it. You look good in snow.”
Aneurin laughed. “I was going to say the same thing about you.”
A silence stretched between them as their eyes met. For a wild moment Aneurin thought Kaleo was going to kiss him. It would be okay if Kaleo wanted it. He had promised that. If Kaleo wanted more then he could take initiative. Aneurin had promised himself he still wouldn't do anything about it because he would feel guilty. Now, looking at Kaleo with his crown of snowflakes, Aneurin realized he had lied to himself.
Yearly word count - Huzzah I'm over the word count goal.
