If you still have a few pennies left, ALL my books are on sale here . Books make great gifts. Share it with your friends if you want. Do warn them I have women in my m/m stories. yes, once again I saw one of Jana's facebook friends going 'if I see the word 'she' in the blurb I bail.' I really want to blog as Jana about HOW offensive that is (and it's always women. I have yet to see a gay man say that once.) Of course that would lose me what few fans I have. I'm afraid I'll say something if I ever go to one of those cons. SIGH.
Anyhow Mom and I didn't go out until after lunch so it wasn't so bad (except for Wal-Mart. We weren't planning on going there but my god they were parking along the guard rails). We hit Macy's and I bought out of the store for myself. For 70$ I got THREE sweat shirts (5$ each), sweat pants and three dress shirts and a sports bra (which was half the cost and is going back). We hit Home Goods. That store is dangerous. I could buy everything there. I bought Mom a Santa to piss off Dad and a Snowman for my SiL to piss off my brother (neither male wants more decorations)
Half Price book store had a used Big Trouble in LIttle China that mom wanted and Amazon wanted like 40$ for. Everything there was 20% off. We got a ton of holiday cards too.
I even had a coupon for buy one get one free McCafe's. Nice.
So a pretty good day. Got to see Aunt S2 as well.
It's like I'm barely writing at all. geez.

Nano snippet I didn’t expect that.”
“For me to be smart or for me to be altruistic?” Shyroth smirked.
Kaleo snorted, grateful to his mother’s insistence on educating him. He’d need every bit of vocabulary she beat into him for this guy. “Both I guess. Didn’t expect perfect looks to go with a brain,” he said, his tongue racing before his brain. When he realized what he said, Kaleo flushed. “I mean…”
Shyroth laughed. “Guess I’ve got it all.”
“Now see, arrogance I did expect.” Kaleo grinned.
Shyroth tapped his chest. “Sometimes the arrogance is earned. For example, I won the Spindler prize for Science and will be accepting the award soon.”
Kaleo blinked a few times, trying to process that. “Even slum mutts have heard of the Spindler awards. You have to be a genius.” He hadn’t expected that. It should be an honor to be talking to this man but all he could think was it really wasn’t fair to be that smart and that cute at the same time. Why was Shyroth even talking to him? It wasn’t like he had a prayer of understanding half of what the man was probably doing.
