By some miracle
Dec. 8th, 2015 11:53 pmI did get all my exams done and all the papers graded and I got mugged by a golden doodle who wanted his training strap off his muzzle (he's a service dog in training). He decided best way was to rub it on my thigh until it came off. (The librarian also fosters service dogs).
I got two weeks worth of laundry down. Half my holiday cards addressed then realized god my place is so terrifyingly messy I hope everything goes well tomorrow because if I end up in the hospital and mom sees this...
So tomorrow I go in to have my stomach looked at. It shouldn't be too bad. I plan on going in to put in some grades anyhow. The coworker taking me there has a test to give late afternoon so we're meeting at the school. She has the worst of it. I just have to roll out of bed. I can't wear make up, contacts or eat so I can get up later than reasonable for my early morning appointment.
Meanwhile my brother was back in the hospital with the rest of his GI track inflammed which is bad news. He was supposed to have ulcerative colitis and not Chron's. Sigh. He's home now but still. Worrisome news.
And I went through the roof when I got the mail and saw my insurance denied my MRI then came inside and found out they changed their mind (I HAVE all the documentation to prove it is necessary). I have to go next tuesday for my back AND hip (so like 1 1/2 hours inside a coffin magnet for me) and on friday for the visit with the surgeon.
The next week will suck starting tomorrow. But hopefully they'll learn what they need to. My stomach is burning like hell right now but I don't want to take anything that might mask the issue.
wildrider shared this with me. Star Trek Garden Gnomes They're too great for words. Better yet is that I had NO idea Star Trek day lilies and hostas existed and now I must have them.
Finished watching Scream Queens. It was ridiculously cheesy 80s horror flick right up to the end. Loved it in spite of how dumb (intentionally) it was.

Date: 2015-12-12 03:04 am (UTC)Lilyfest sounds like fun.
Mom found a recipe for candied iris bulbs. I told her my bulbs are far too expensive for me to cut them up for candy.

Is that even safe? A lot of bulbs are toxic

Date: 2015-12-13 02:03 am (UTC)I know you can eat daylily bulbs. Again, mine are too expensive for that sort of thing.
