And so the semester ends on a sour note
Dec. 14th, 2015 10:03 pmI hate our health care choices. I'm paying more and getting less but I knew that. What upset me was they've been screwing up my HSA for years. If this has tax ramifications I'm going to be furious.
Also the meeting went as horribly as expected but thank god for the nurses. The screwing the board of trustees was giving us had to be lightened because the national board that accredits the degree took one look at what the board was trying to do (i.e. make us teach huge classes, work overloads with no pay etc) and said we will NOT accredit you if this continues. Without that there is no nursing program. Without them this school closes.
But I got my grades in. I got my plants into the greenhouse. And then me and the two chemists went to the Wounded Goose for dinner. I'm so out of it I was repeated reminded it was NOT friday like I was convinced it was. My food wasn't as good this time but I need to be there on fridays. That's wild/weird game night. Sorry, unrepentant carnivore here.
A Saint Lucia’s celebration this is @ an hour long and even though it's in Norwegian, it's beautiful and oh so pretty. The candle crown is giving me ideas for my SF story I posted the open call for (I'm thinking one is a very sheltered religious figure) and if you go to 30 minutes in the operatic singer is pretty much exactly what I think the bear shifter in my Deadwood story looks like minus the goth make up (which is a shocker to me) and if he were just a tad more tall and muscular.
