Somehow it disappeared before my eyes.

Most of it was taken up with this photo 100_4961_zpsnoh7eyax.jpg

Rolling puff pastry around those dowel rods to make lady locks (creme horns). There's like 100 of them photo 100_4963_zpsy8uclhg3.jpg

We tried to fill them using the plastic bag pastry method but the bags just kept bursting at the slightest touch. Sigh. Tomorrow will go for real bags (we threw ours out years ago and having been using the cut ziploc bag without problems.

And here's the view outside my bedroom today

30 + of them and not a Tom among them (not that it's their season also don't like wild turkey). They hung out for some time. Well at least the yard is de-grubbed.

Aunt S2 came up to wish mom happy birthday (it's in 2 days) but came up too early pissing off mom and then went to see my other aunt and uncle and why is it NO ONE in this family will honor it when you say I DO NOT WANT TO TALK POLITICS. Because you KNOW you'll hear things that you would sever a friendship over without a second thought but you can't quite do that with family?

And to add to the big-ass suck that is 2015, my brother's brother in law was hospitalized today with what could be meningitis.

Working on edits, wondering not for the first time why I even write.

it's a lot less work when you cheat and use premade puff pastry so all you have to do is cut it into strips and roll

we have turkeys all over

Even the rolling looks like a huge thing, though! We have turkeys, too, at the beach, but I haven't seen a flock that big in a while.

It must take a while to roll all those pastries! That looks very impressive to me.

Wow, what a big group of turkeys! That's something I don't see where I live, ha ha

Love wild turkeys! Saw them for the first time when we were driving in Connecticut a few years ago.

I've heard wild turkey is pretty good - I'd love to try it some time. Not real common down in these parts.

Cream horns!

You do know why you write - because the little voices tell you to.

Mmm, cream horns.

I think there's an alcohol commercial in your photo of the wild turkeys...

Makes the donkey yell.

Mom asked if the coyote was hunting the turkeys and whether he had an Acme box with him.

eats the pets and yes that donkey has been yelling

hahaha turkeys, no Acme

I'm sure the donkey has. He probably needs a mule buddy, if those are big coyotes. :D Or llamas.

Awww, coyotes and Acme go together like ducks and rabbits.

Or goats or something

They do I'll have to put an acme toy out there

Goats aren't big enough to take on coyotes. Llamas and mules are. And if a mule can take on a cougar and kill it for messing with its dog...

Yes, you definitely need to put out an Acme toy for the coyote.
