Things I didn't get to yesterday

My stomach is back to acting up so I'm glad I'm going to the doc on friday. But I wished I had remembered that before going out to eat tonight. Because I have a dinner on wednesday to attend and of course in Huntington once I'm done with doc.
I cooked SO much yesterday so let me show you.
This was a take on Giada's Orange-Ricotta pie. Between pine nuts being pricey AND us driving the pine trees to extinction with all of this stuff, I doubled the rice. I probably should have just went 1 1/2.
What my eggs were MEANT to look like
my actual effort. they give you this tiny brush but only two so washing it out was a mess.
they look more gold in person and are pretty but nothing like promised.
homemade pickled tomato and fennel salad
Apricot & lavender mustard glazed ham
Grandma's parmasen cheese bread. I did something wrong. I cut it down but not right. It was more like Panera's asaigo cheese bagels. good, tasty but not right. I don't want to share this until I get it better.
And a prisoner escaped not too far from here. A murderer. With a track record of escaping so naturally bringing him from Cleveland out to the country in a min. security prison made so much sense.
I can't believe I'm nearly done with work until August. April will be INSANE.
So naturally I'm doing Camp Nano. Is anyone else?
