Honors

Tonight was the honors banquet for the honor students. We had five of them this year and the guest speaker was one of mine from a few years back who's in her third year of medical school. It was pretty nice, decent chicken parm. It was nice to see that student again. Her aunt/uncle own the winery I go to.

I felt a little embarrassed though, between having the provost and my president seeing me with that cane. Also I thought the provost was trying to shake my hand so I tried to reciprocate and it was just...awkward. sigh.

My plants are coming up. By next week, I'll have to try to transplant them. Calypso beans and two of three tomatoes came up. No sign of the watermelon or black beans. sigh.

I'm not sure my fixed tooth is going to hold. I might need that crown after all. i just get the feeling it won't last long, what the dentist did. I'm really grinding my teeth lately triggering the nerve damage I have from the TMJ. fun and NOT getting to do my pt lately is taking its toll. My hip hurts so much.

I'm really really struggling with my weird west story. Sigh.

I've been frustrated with my new health care system I'm using for my hip. The staff is great but their appointment system sucks. It's all isolated, PT doesn't know what the doc is doing who doesn't know what testing is doing etc etc. I had to make three calls today just to make sure it was all straight because it also doesn't all show on the website portal either but for some reason they made my follow appt without talking to me. Right in the middle of a final. No, sorry but you need to ask me and I did get it fixed but...Between now and next friday I have THREE doctor's appointments. sigh.

Kanda is getting mad I'm never home but when I am he won't look at me

Stuff is coming up here & now it's getting cold again. I have some daffodils that grow in a clump in the backyard. When they bloom, you know it's Spring! :D

Sorry about your tooth & medical. Nice your they make appointments for you, but not cool they don't check to see if you can make it. XD

Sorry too about your story. Maybe it needs to sit for a while, while you do other stuff & then come back to it. Sometimes that helps me, when I get stuck.

Awe... Poor Kanda. He doesn't knwo if you're here to stay or not. XD

I don't have a while sadly. My deadline is looming. I did shit on it tonight too and I won't even be around tomorrow

i'm struggling my office window sucks so everything got leggy but I'm afraid the greenhouse waters too hard. I transplanted today and I hope they ain't dead by monday

most of that is fixed but i'm having issues with the seedlings looking nipped right at the soil line. that HAS to a fungus or something

I swear i read that somewhere it's fungus but I often lose tomato seedlings that way. Beans not to much because nothing kills beans

I think you need some copper in your soil to combat it. That's what's in the back of my head for the tomatoes.

Over-watering tomatoes causes a fungal disease named phytothora to grow rampantly in the soil mix. Tomato seedlings are EXTREMELY susceptible to phytothora.
