In which things went subtly wrong. The one time I wanted the other prof to be in the lab (he's usualy in there when I need to be) so I could practice my powerpoint for my students and he was of course in the classroom so I couldn't. We did run through it so they could see what they were missing out on.

Then on friday I gave a test to one of my boss's students. this isn't unusual. He doesn't have lab portions on the advantaged tests. this time he did which she tells me about AFTER she has the test in hand and has read all the questions. She tells me he knows she's coming (and while he didn't tell me this before he left for the seminar that's not unusual). I can't find the pictures. Now she's furious that he has no other pictures for her. He's mad at her coming in. Both are probably ticked at me. We did come to an arrangment but it's like who needs this (the question my boss asked me and telling me I'm nuts not to run from teaching now)

Then I go and get my hair cut. She trims the dead ends off and that's it, gives me some advice because PCOS has made my hair very thin on top and then tell me my hair is so beautiful and curly shoves in some gel and tells me I'm done. My hair looks like when I get up in the morning and I paid money for this. Mom (who's a beautician) told me that's the new in look. Well hell, who needs a brush right?

then mom calls to tell me she went shopping for a suit for me. Found the perfect one provided I can lose 100 pounds between now and the next interview (and asked the same thing I did why do professional suits stop at size 6?) and gloated over the great clothes she found for herself.

I DID get a chapter of Tearing the Veil done finally and the beta's have it. Sort of like with Built on Lies, I think the thing has kinda run its course and just needs to end. It doesn't need to be longer so this one I time jumped a little (I wanted a little Darla/Buffy/Angel conflict but I didn't want it to happen in one day. I wanted Buffy to be a tad more mature than that but had no real way of keeping the story interesting while that builds. How much can we see of the gang scouring Madison before we get bored?
