Tomorrow is graduation. It's supposed to thunderstorm. That should be fun. My vote is to let the faculty go home and reserve all the seating for family/friends. I mean THAT'S who this is all for, not me.
Sunday I'll be going to Rathacon. Granted I'll have to man the Airship Athena table from time to time but I AM going to manage to get a picture taken with Toothless dammit!
Monday I'll be driving 2 1/2 hours to Cincinatti to attend Maggie Stiefvater's book tour for the last of the Raven Cycle books. I'm still debating whether or not I'm driving back home or not. Unfortunately being a monday means the book tour is at night and that leave me driving 150 miles give or take on a VERY lonely stretch of highway at night. It might be worth the 60 dollars to spend the night.
Then I have to be in Columbus on Tuesday for another research presentation (a whole hour long. Oh boy. there's another 200 mile round trip just for this but I should be there for this student!) So since I'm there it'll be a day of shopping and casino going, so there.
So mini-vacation. Maybe this will shake me out of my dour mood. I hope so. Some articles are saying Prince died of chronic pain (and the meds taken there for). I can believe that. God, I can believe it.
