Officially unemployed

Well today was my last day at work (well there's grades to do and maybe a party to attend). It was quiet, like no one knew I was leaving and I don't think my boss really wants me to go which is nice. Sadly there simply isn't enough full time work here. Had a couple students fail but for the most part there were a ton of A's so that was nice. I can't believe how fast an academic year has gone. So hey, I survived my first year as a teacher. Go me! I'm almost still sane!

I'm drinking margaritas to celebrate but the store didn't have REAL margarita stuff so it's bartle's & James crap. It only tastes like a margarita if you a) have an imagination and b) use lots of salt. In fact forget salting the rim, just salt your lips and suck on them like you were doing body shots off your favorite someone.

Well I'm going to try and write and maybe read the newest episode of the Destroyer up at the Orlon_window.

It must be a relief.

Of course, when I was teaching, I found the end of the semester such a relief that I finally realized I disliked teaching intensely.

It is. And over several pitchers of beer tonight, I think Karl was looking to see if I really like teaching or not. The thing is I like the teaching. it's the testing and other stuff I'm not sure I'll like in the long haul.
