Mom is stunned and unhappy that the house is sold. Now to find a way to get our stuff out of there. Yeah again, a big screw you to the men involved in this. Throwing it all out is not really an option.

I'm still choking on the noxious gas in here. I bug bombed the place. and it is ventilated but still....Kanda got to go to work. He had fun once he settled in. He walked the entire building on his leash. Students laughed at him. He didn't want loved on by the chair who loves cats but did want L to pet him so bad and she hates cats (bonus she smells like her rabbit) and he would not leave the biochemist alone.

I had to take him to Jackson and put him on a wall so I could vacuum out the car because I brought home some plants from the greenhouse and in spite of having plastic down it fell so that it not only tore the plastic off the seat it threw dirt entirely across the back seat and into the door's little holder spot AND then my little hand held vacuum cleaner bit the dust.

Because my life is a farce.

Looked at houses here because why bother going back now. I can't afford houses in the Pittsburgh area. nothing but fucking double wides all the way up to 200K because again farce. I hate this place.

But sometimes things come across your path when you need them. Like havocmangawip posted a bunch of motivational memes on her FB and I loved this one.

And St. Joseph's Indian School sent me another Please Help (in bright red on the envelope) packet (which I swear has to cost as much as they're asking for me). In with the pretty birthday cards was the 2017 Calendar of Hope. Seemed pretty timely to me. I'm going to post some of them here until it sinks in. From my birthday month My Hopes are not always realized,but I always hope Ovid.

Got my last set of edits on Corpse Powder and she loved the story (I think the second editor who didn't tell me their name didn't and didn't even bother since there was not ONE edit other than to clarify the meanings of words from the Jewish and Navajo cultures). This one caught a ton of l ittle typoes so really editor #2? Really? At least this one caught it and I have til monday to get it in. No problems there. Good news at least.
