Now I'm laid off until July 1st. They ran OUT of money (this is the state of FL). Uh-huh. There's SUPPOSED to be two of us in OPS but the other one quit. I'm SUPPOSED to be working 20 hours a week. I'm working 10. THe office manager told my supervisor to tell me that I'm only to be working 30 hours a month (she didn't tell me)so I may not get paid for the work I DID do this month and last. SIGH.

Oh and I think you all took pity on me because I now have a stalker.

When I moved to Florida in 2001 a few months after I got here, a 10 year old boy and his grandmother went missing from their home one town away from here. The case remains unsolved. First thing I said was, they'll find the boy alone in the woods without his grandmother (the way I saw it, grandmother was an impediment, dealt with immediately and dumped. It was the boy the perp was after). This weekend his skeletal remains were found in the woods along Cassadaga Rd and MLK. WHen I said I felt he was in the woods close by I meant to his house NOT mine. I've been driving by this poor child's body for 3 years now. Oh, and his body wasn't found with his grandmother's at least not yet.

I won three awards at the Shadows and Dust awards all of them for the same story, Ceremony of Innocence for best dark, best novel length and best BtVS/AtS crossover. This is one of my favorite stories so I'm pleased. Note to anyone going ot read it (feel free and let me know what you think, this contains character death and a graphic male rape, it's NOT a pretty story). It's an AR rewrite of the end of Angel S4 and none of S5 exists in this story (since it was written long before that). Sunnydale didn't blow up nor did Anya die at the end of Buffy. It's an ensemble piece heav on Connor, Angel, Buffy, and Lilah (Lilah fans note she IS the villian in this in a huge way)
