I PASSED

WHeee. The day started badly. The moron neighbors started pounding on metal at 6AM thanks for robbing me of my final hour of sleep. I get to school and everyone including my three instructors were impressed about my LoTR Fellowship of the Ring leaf pin. Is that the silver expensive one? Yes it is. My parents got it for my birthday.

Okay they first asked me if I thought I passed and I said no. They said NO ONE thinks they've passed. Nothing I studied was actually touched on. I was totally panicked and it didn't help when you get asked questions like:
1) Are there ecosystems on Mars. If so why, if not why.
2) Why couldn't the Oliphants of LoTR really exist, explain physiologically (they can't dump heat. once you get to a certain size you can't dump heat and you cook that's why they think the really big dinosaurs were cold blooded while the smaller carnivorous ones were warm blooded)
3) Explain the effect on the environment if there was no tilt to the earth. (This took about a 1/2 hour of My main advisor drawing me pictures and me slowly trying to figuring out what the hell
4) When we colonize Mars is there enough light to grow plants and if not what do we do?
At least we asked some conservation questions, I blew a podiatry question totally, how embarrassing and I had to draw the damn path of blood thru the heart, thank god Utah made me do a presentation on that so I'm standing there singing that stupid Bayer aspiring song ala Potsey.

Important thing I passed. Now my paper has to be redone ONE more time. And now I don't have to have the pictures in the text. I can put them on their own page which would have been so much simplier in the first place. And I have to have it bound???

I got my independent research to do and I should graduate in a month. WHEEE

Ouch

Got home and really took a look at my toe. It's so swollen it has fracture blisters. That is so bad. I promptly took care of that and am now doing everything I as a podiatrist would always tell people not to do. It's just a baby toe, not like we'd do much with it medically anyhow. But still. OUCH.

On the good news side of things, my Faith ficathon story is done. Just need to type it. It's a ship I've never done before. I'm kinda happy with it. Due the same day is is the female ficathon which I have ideas for but I don't like the female I got assigned so that's a problem but the idea was interesting enough that I didn't whine and ask for something different. Due two days before it are the Stoner ficathon which I've got a scene done but it's the same time period and couple I've done a few times before and this story is look just like those only with drugs, and the Harmony ficathon which I know where I'm going only I probably should have realized I'm not good enough on the ol' humor to do Harmony well.

Later that week is the Ripper ficathon for which I have ideas and diddlysquat written and the week after that is the Back to School and the Wes ficathon. SHoot me now.
