Walking in a Winter Wonderland.

Well I didn't realize how much like heroin LJ had become until it was gone for 24 hours. I've made it back to Wisconsin. It's a balmy -28 out here (I think that's about -34 C for my non-US friends). WHeee.

I've learned I DO have a job for this coming semester so let me do a dance. Okay that's enough of the jiggling fat, I'll go back to sitting down.

One of my distant cousins was supposed to get married this weekend. Someone stabbed him at his batchelor party. Not sure if he's going to make it. Seems 2005 is starting out much like 2004. I can't survive another 2004.


I learned too very interesting things last night. I have long since (we're talking childhood) have considered the living room at my Mother's mother's house to be haunted and ditto for the bedroom at my father's mother's house. Well last night I was told a) at least 5 members of my family were laid out in that living room instead of at a funeral home b)A teenager committed suicide in that bedroom back in the 20's-30's c) my grandmother will not go into that livingroom alone d) every time my uncle sleeps in that bedroom he has nightmares about dying.
