blah

It's been such a WTF day and my suddenly failing nurses are only part of it. It started when the oatmeal which I cook very often decided to explode all over the stove soaking two burners and getting down inside the thing. Grrrr.

Then I had to give two exams today (but at least I could write while they were busy failing)

And yesterday it was 75 tonight it's 26 degrees outside. I don't do so well health wise in while swings like that (not to mention now that I have a free style monitor that allows me to test places other than my fingers my arm looks like I do heroin. I do NOT take to being punctured well my body loves to display punctures. Guess I'll have to remmeber to test before I put on pants...)

And now suddenly (and I do mean suddenly like without warning and like someone flipped a switch) my throat hurts. Not the scratchy infected kind of sore throat but the kind like your nodes have ballooned to three times their size. It feels like someone punched me in my throat and my ear is starting to hurt as well. Can we say this isn't good. And it reminds me no one's called me about the blood work they drew a week ago. i KNOW it wasn't normal. It never is.

My father sent me an email, no that's not the shock, but Mr. Red Foreman used emoticons! There's something unsettling seeing your dad using emoticon smiley faces. I told mom and she said he's having a crisis. Yes apparently giving up cigarettes for 5 weeks after smoking for 50 years makes you go insane.

And I think I'm getting an ear infection. It feels like I have a golf ball sized lymph node pressing into my throat and eustachian tube
