If I thought the new porcupine eating my garage door (yes, it's a new one, much smaller and more skittish and he took off before posing for a picture, bugger), now there's a horse in my yard grazing. Oh he has on all his tack and three teenaged girls are standing on the road chatting. I suppose I could go out there and say something but I figure it this way, it's cool and pissing down rain and if they don't already know it's rude to let your horse graze in someone's yard, me telling them so isn't going to help. Besides, the grass needs cut.

As for chaos, today I open the mini blind, the ropes holding it together promptly break and spill the blinds everywhere, so it's a blanket over the window for the nex few weeks...and my tv died last night just a little. It had the center missing. just a white box in its place. Today it's better. I'm not even asking.

Dude, you get your grass cut for free. What about the porcupine? It's unfinished...

that porcupine is about to be donated to the local tribe for jewelry making...

Oh, that's a bit unfair. Couldn't you try to trap it in a cage or something and take it to a shelter or a forest or something. The cage has to be covered, of course, so you don't get stabbed.

And that sounds like murder, but you know what I mean.

A horse? But hey, free grass cutting. That's a bonus.

Aha, the weird things that happen to electronics with one of us around are happening again, aren't they?

They probably thought no one could be living in the house, with the grass that high. And yeah, the grass definitely needs cutting. Someday. So it doesn't look like a wheat field gone amock.

Porkypine, you're gonna be in a world of hurt if you're not careful.

i'm going to go hot pepper the garage so I don't have to shoot him. I'm trying hard not to shoot him which is probably a first for me.

I think that's exactly what the girls thought. He's got THREE tractors in the garage.

Yes, but do any of the tractors actually work? And are they riding? And does anyone in the neighborhood really care that the lawn's that high, really?

Pepper that porky! Yeah, you not shooting it is rather a surprise. Maybe rocksalt would scare him off, though.

he ATE the rock salt. I could shoot him with it.

I think they work. two are push one is riding and no I don't think anyone cares but if the lawn were cared for less damn animals would be here thinkinf it's wild habitat

I meant shooting with the rock salt.

Hmmm, that is a good point. Of course, Zog likes the wild critters (until they play havoc, that is).

Considering how much damage the porkypines have done, that's understandable.
