oh how they build. But the good news, no cancer or anything bad found in pathology post-operatively. Otherwise I'm still a little tried from the anemia but nothing too bad.

I have two tests to make. I'm frazzled. My students are frazzled. One lab exam is tomorrow. NO ONE is ready for it. I waited all afternoon for the panickers to come in as instructed. no one did. So cest l'vie if you fail tomorrow. Read the riot attack on the human anatomy class (will do so again tomorrow). I have no less than a half dozen people miss the lab practical. This one doesn't matter. the next ones do. They're LONG. They take HOURS to set up. I told them miss it and you have a choice a zero or an ORAL exam which I quiz the crap out of you and I won't be nice about it. I will make it hard. You're in college, show some responsibility.

Spent two days wtih Buckeye Rural Electric listening to them bullshit about how it was possible for there to be MORE energy usage on the meter in the four weeks I was gone over the holidays than there is when I'm here. Okay how does this not compute to you people? I wasn't here. No one was. Everything here is electric. So unless the ghosts and the mice (which it smells like one peed in my stove. I'm thrilled) used the power why I was gone, there is no possible way I could use more electricity when I was gone for a month.

i need to go back and find the title meme. that sounded like fun. The great writer meme doesn't. I have no trouble with constructive criticism. I do this professionally. I've been pulled apart like you can't believe by real life editors. I've no troubles with that. But the few I've looked in on I've seen a few constructive criticisms, some anonymous people being helpful then several anonymous jerks mouthing off saying things they wouldn't dare if they had to put their names on it and it's not constructive or helpful. Hardly seems worth it. Most of my friends tell me to my face what they think about things. I appreciate them for it. A2Zmom for instance, has been unafraid to tell me when something doesn't work and when it does. I respect that. Some anonymous brat running in to tell me how much pairing X sucks or why am I writing about character Y when they suck just isn't something I wanna deal with. And why am I going on and on about something I'm not doing. Hell if I know. Probably because people might expect me to do it or to comment in theirs and this is why I'm not.

OMG

My virtual cat dissection cd-rom is fan-freaking-tastic! OMG, it not only shows every muscle (all 400+) it gives the human equivalent in another window AND tells origins, insertions, innervations and actions.

I'm doing back flips. (well okay not really but if I could I would. Maybe I'll go turn a sommersault. I can still do that). I haven't dissected a cat in 20 years. I mean seriously. Since 1989 I've dissected nothing but humans. I can't remember cats.

I'm getting a lap top for lab tomorrow. Wheee! Not only to I get the joy of cutting into tissue (yes I DO love that) I have a handy dandy computer program that's smarter than me for when someone asks a question and I'm like crap humans don't have that muscle. what does it do??
