Wanted to try to wrap up another scene today, but only to do a few paragraphs because I had to be away longer than expected and I'm tired lol.

Still fiddling with the character arcs, but only in my head. I couldn't sleep all night so I thought about the story. Couldn't make any real progress, though. I'm still completely undecided about the changes I planned.

I need my betas to talk through it, I think, but both of them are busy. :((

For the record, I did write more than my Yuletide sign-up yesterday. I just didn't feel like specifying what, because it's... things. Is it necessary to list in the tally what I've been working on? Because though I may feel like saying "I was working on my short story" or whatever it was, and it can be fun to chat about things in comments, I don't necessarily like seeing it reported afterwards what I said I've been writing. I don't know if it makes any sense, but it just bothers me. I guess because first-draft writing is a kind of a delicate process for me, and I don't like feeling like it matters to anyone else which thing I've been working on. The idea of the tally is just to list who's been writing, like people did in the previous months. If you look back on the links navaan provided in the comments a few posts back, it's just been a list of who wrote.

Anyway, I wrote something yesterday. Rather not say what, because I don't know what's coming out of it, if anything is.
