well at least i got a lot of reading done

I had another doctor's appt today...just in time to get there when they were installing new computer equipment and thus throwing the whole office into chaos. I was there 2 1/2 hours...just so i can get a prescription refill...kill me. So I did complain (had to make it worth my time) about my bad hip (going for an x-ray, wanna take bets on what they might find) and about my endrocrinologist. I think her eyebrows about fell off her head they climbed so high. She gave me the diabetes pills i wanted to try. If they work, I'm going to rub them in his face. If they don't well, he'll never know.

Then she wanted blood. Two nurses and six holes later, we gave up. No blood. Hell I didn't even bleed out of the needle sticks. Nothing. I'm running on air apparently. I half expected sand to run out of me like a shriveled up old mummy. Going to the hospital and the phlebotomists.

Went to the laundromat and library. I could take back the latest Sandford book since i managed to read it all. Got the latest Witting-Albert book only to realize I don't think I read the last two which are NOT stand alone. Sigh.

the one good thing? got a bunch of manga to review so yay.

tomorrow i have to go to work and do orientation day. Booo.

the funny thing for the day, I'm eating lunch and I hear bang, bang, bang on my porch. I look out and E, the three year old from next door has Roy in my wagon and is rolling him all over the porch. Roy has this SAVE ME look on his face. I just shut the door. Taking the wash to the car, E stops me. I wanna go in your place and proceeds to go in. Yeah, I don't think so little guy.

oh and the Smirnoff Ice's green apple bite is a liquid Jolly Rancher. Keep these away from me while I still have a liver.
