blech

About a half hour after getting home last night, I started throwing up and was rather miserable all night. I'm warm right now but otherwise cautiously okay at work. I think it was a combination of my gastric paresis (ate more than usual) and a migraine. sigh

I did find some of my reading material on line. i think it's become my mission to find it ALL on there (outside of the novels I can read at the library). I might end up just buying one of the books. Maybe two just because one sounds cool but only at the library.

okay back to my grade book making. because of software issues i can't import from our class lists into webct OR my gradebook so I have to do this by hand and I have over 100 students this semester. bah

still thinking vampires and a link to hysteria

letting the ideas perculate until next week when i can ask for more clarification but i think the anime/manga thing will work (I notice Vampire Hunter D is on the syllabus). Hmm vampire manga in relationship to sexuality and death (which means I would have to know current attitudes on sex and death in Japan...)


I'm looking at what I might want to do for the short story. I think it might take place soon after Machiavelli Moon so it would have at least two vampires who are into a new chapter of their lives (good vampires here so I'm probably already breaking the myth), a werewolf trying to recover from being shot and handling AA meetings and Deadwood south dakota. So i have setting and characters and no freaking plot.

are we sure i can't just say here's my FFN url. there are 100 Buffy stories. pick one?

I need Saiyuki plots too since my big bang is no bang...
