The best i'm going to do for [livejournal.com profile] springkink are going to be very short pwp's at best which isn't going to be doing the stories much justice. Somehow when I signed up for things I didn't realize this and FMA bigbang would be close to the same time, not to mention the Saiyuki bigbang got moved into the same time frame.

then there's the pro thing I have to get done since I did have a decent idea for it.

please shoot me if I say I'm signing up for anything ever again

ETA - I might have two for the betas in the next day or two. Both FMA

1. Olivia/Roy/Riza

2. Roy/Maes/Riza/Gracia

anyone want to look at them quickly once i managed to break my fingers typing them at lightning speed?

historical writing )
writing wise I'm making minimal progress. sigh.

original fiction total for the year

6689 / 125000 words. 5% done!

Too confounded to bother with the big bangs.

Edited: Yes indeed, I DID work on Machiavelli Moon!

Also [livejournal.com profile] starbase_karma is doing a blogathon today for the Australian relief charities. stop on in. (I had wanted to volunteer but I realized there was no feasible way time wise)

A little late in the day but here I am with another round of the weight off. I've lost another 2 pounds for a total of 4. baby steps but what the heck I'm walking.

Go back and check out last week's post here. There were so very many good suggestions here.

1. eating smaller, healthier portions (this is what I've been doing)
2. exercise (yes we all know this but if you have tips/styles you want to share please do)
3. cut out high fructose corn syrup and soda (these I never thought about being diabetic I did this a decade ago)

So how have you all been progressing? leaping ahead? stumbling a bit? Let it all hang out. this is what we're here for.

Me, I'm not so much on the exercise that most others will enjoy (I.e. mostly I do stuff for the old folks because of the sheer amount of arthritis i have) But i'm betting some of you have suggestions for that.

I do however cook. These two came from a book I had forgotten about until I wanted the soup recipe this weekend (then forgot to make it). Both recipes are from Sugarbusters one of the anti carb crazes from the late 90's. While i'm not a huge proponent of dieting fads some of the recipes DO have worth. I really like both of these.

Yes, I WILL be obnoxious until the superbowl. Thanks for understanding. Also I can't lose since my second favorite team is Greenbay...

How was my day besides me losing my sense over a football game?

I got the cat voucher. That lady can talk. I was there an hour. I'm lucky I didn't volunteer and walk out with three more cats. Though i AM going to try and talk my students into it. THey should.

It was such a beautiful sunny day I went out and got the outside Christmas crap down and now it's all put away. the floors are swept and that was a chore. SOmehow something is stuck up in the vacuum's hose. I must take it apart and look for it. So i turned it on 'bare floor' to sweep up the kicked out cat litter (I used flour, corn and pine so it's light and gets everywhere). THe damn thing acted like it was on blow not suck and litter was blown ALL OVER my kitchen and out into the living room. that took a half hour to clean. sigh.

I did get one springkink done. Didn't do my work stuff but damn it it's a weekend. to hell with that.

and did I mention? SUPERBOWL!
