Another friday, another two bottles of wine

At least we were all a little less pissed off than last week but not by much. I blew up a computer at work today. I swear it was NOT me. I just touched the on button and it bit the big one. everyone is laughing at me. waaah.

I finally got some of my office's back table cleaned off. it's actually NOT my hoarding tendancies at play. this is all stuff I need to keep for a couple years in case of student grievances with exactly one inadequate file cabinet to put it in. ARGH.

I also found out that tenure isn't til next year unless i want to push it. it's not till the fourth year of your tenure track so for me it'll be 7 years in since i had 3 years non-tenure track. whimpers.


I wanted to go to Spring Valley cemetery in Cincinnatti this weekend. I had planned to go tomorrow because they put a surprise meeting at 8 AM on tuesday so I didn't want to be all tired out. I do cemetery art for the newcomers to the list. Anyhoo...tomorrow, depending on where I look Cinci is supposed to be 98-100 degrees and full sun. Oh hell no. One, full sun puts shadows on the faces and if it is that hot while I'm hiking I will need a cemetery in a professional capacity. It might rain sun/monday but monday is supposed to be partly cloudly and 70. You know what I can walk in the damn rain.

bob_fish has been a big help on my original fiction today (there is a filter fyi newcomers) with a perspective on things I just don't have. thank you. Also she has a sexy pic of shirtless!Roy doing circless alchemy and that reminded me i have yet to really tackle that. My first anime with manga highlights story Sorrow's Dark Array and Source of Sorrow touchs on it but Roy is hiding the ability.I really DO need to work on a post 108 story with that.

Also do I owe anyone a read thru? I think I've caught up on all stories that were written FOR me. catw00man I see the slashfest story which i'm like 95% sure is my prompt, I will get to it asap.
