I wish I had house elves
Nov. 7th, 2011 12:52 amI got half the clothes changed over for the season. Tossed out a couple things and for some reason that tired me out.
Mostly i think because I didn't feel so good. I woke up an hour earlier than usual. Realized it was falling back time so I had two hours to sleep and curled back up. Then I couldn't wake up. As in seriously couldn't force my self up which is unusual for me. I think I'm getting an ear infection and my left ear is throbbing. My sugar was low as well. The hormones are making it see saw all over. Sigh.
My legs and arms are hurting. I need to find time to replace that desktop. Using a laptop is causing me so much pain.
i'm facing a very long chapter here. Lately I've been reading books that break long scenes with no dun-dun-dun moments just stop mid stream and start the next chapter with the following sentence.I have no idea why. It annoys me greatly. I don't want to do it but gah not sure what else to do.
Snippet of the day - Once inside, however, the young man migrated to the far wall in the living room studying the mural the dominated it. In lavish color, the story of Alren's rescue of his wife, Savaria - the lone time the god had done so. The stories usually went the other direction and this story was particular to the Yaarian's take on religion – splayed out as trees came to life and the animals came to Alren's aid against the demons who had captured Savaria.
“This is Yaarian, Alren in the Forest of Dappled Sun.” Sverre gestured with his hooks at the mural.
“This cottage's former owner was Yaarian. She painted it,” Ethon said as Charis went deeper into the house to retrieve his cache of weapons and supplies that he kept for emergencies.
“What happened to her?” Sverre's eyes narrowed. “Did you take this from her?”
