for customer service/tech support to BLAME YOU? I swear no matter what that is their default setting. A couple months ago I got into it with American Broadband, my phone company, when they charged me an outrageous fee and they said I had been 2 weeks late paying so they cut my phone off. One, I make long distance calls every day. My phone was never cut off. I lost the argument and paid. I haven't seen a bill from them in 2 months so I panicked, paid on line then yesterday got a bill for less than the regular fee. WTF?

I call them and they said I had a credit. I ask so, I WASNT cut off and didn't have to pay a reconnection fee? Yeah that was credited back. NO phone call to tell me so. No letter. No statement saying I owed zero. Now I probably do since I overpaid.

Today I spent an hour and a half talking to McGraw-Hill because suddenly I can't access the instructor resources for Connect, their online portion of the text book. I can make homework assignments (which naturally means I AM an instructor) but it won't let me download other things I need. I call them. IN the middle of that ONE of my two text books suddenly agrees, yes I am a professor. The other doesn't. She makes me take a screen shot of it then blames my computer. I explain this happens at home too but my office computer is acting up so badly that no wonder she didn't believe me. She walks me through clearing the history (I have a more up to date Firefox) than she does) and when I close out my shitbox thinks it's still up and won't open another. I had to restart the computer. That took nearly 20 minutes and guess what. STILL doesn't work. She keeps insisting it's my computer. I go to three other computers, still doesn't work. Haven't heard back on my follow up email.

It is not my fault. It is RARELY my fault. But if it's their fault they they'd have to, you know, DO something.

Saw my endocrinologist's PA today. He said it's not that abnormal to see blood sugar jumps like I'm experiencing while exercising. I'm not sure i buy that. My cholesterol was up for the first time ever. I'm blaming the holidays/stress for it. I'll keep a closer eye on my food and see what happens in May.
