too busy for everything

Another weekend welded to the chair. If I didn't have to go out to give Rain her cell phone (it fell out in my car) and go for groceries I wouldn't have moved at all. I did it though. I got both tests ready for tomorrow. I have one more to get ready for wed. Head desk. All this sitting has made my back and shoulder and hips hurt.

So no writerly ways today.

No excitement

and still wondering why I'm even bothering with Claymore (almost done with it) and Casshern Sins. THe former is poorly done and boring and the latter, is so WTF I can't stop watching. It should be held up as an example of how NOT to do world building because it makes no sense.

1. there has literally been nothing alive other than a lizard or two so how do any humans survive
2. why do robots have hair? What was the purpose? Sex bots? to fit into a human society?
3. Why do they have sexes?
4. How can they get cold and need clothing?
5. Let's not even get into how they have sex and theoretically can breed
6. how small is this world that Casshern keeps running into the same three people (okay one is following him)
7. does this have a cogent timeline? anyone?
8. what is the deal with the animators and eye close ups?

Which leads me to the more pressing question, with ALL the anime out there, old and new, WHY can't Cartoon Network get ones that don't blow? Okay they did good with Deadman Wonderland but Samuari 7? Casshern? and reruns of everything and still everything is relagated to late night Saturday/Early sunday morning. They could probably make a buttload for their advertisers if they actually put on more anime (or american cartoons that weren't awful)
