It couldn't have been monday-er
Nov. 5th, 2012 10:30 pmFirst I had to got to work early because I forgot to print out my test on friday (well i forgot to MAKE the test on Friday) and i get in to find I forgot to put away the chocolate from the halloween party and MICE ate it all over my desk and shit every where. WHINES. I LOATHE vermin.
The test was a debacle. And it was interesting, later in the day I was listening to the army recruiter and if HIS students did this bad, he'd be fired. THough, I have to wonder if his students are held to a more rigid standard before they are even accepted.
The day improved somewhat when the cute army recruiter smiled and saluted me. Gah, why are you so much younger than me and married. As I was listening to the sales pitch and wondering if they'd waive not only my age but my health if i got another advanced degree, I learned that all three of them were medics in the army. I'm writing about a former medic in the army. THeir eyes lit up. WE WILL BRING YOU PICTURES NEXT TIME (read very gross and real pictures from the war). YAY.
Came home found i accidentally hit the door coloring my hair last night and now it's spotted in purple. 0_0 And the sink was plugged up. I pulled out the stopped and it was alive with disgusting mildew. Power washed it off but then the sink really jammed. Plunged it and broke the mildew into strands and now Ihave a sink filled iwth black water. I leave it to drain. it doesn't Finally jam my fingers down there to pull up the clog. This day has been made of EW.
Graded tests. Wept. Mom called. Gah the nursing home is apparently staffed with my students.
I got THIRTEEN flyers and SIX phone calls today all from Romney. I am so glad this is nearly over one way or the other. Now the only commericials that will make me want to bathe in purell are hard cord pawn and all those tow truck ones. I forgot to mention I did take one survey (being in a swing state) on the phone and I thought it was just some non-partisan thing but no, it was definitely from Romney's camp. It asked me are you sure but Obama did this... and whenI realized it I just started giving high marks even for shit I don't like about Obama and mom did the same thing because someone from Billy Graham's camp called for Romney and pissed her off.
