World Building Blog Hop Day 5 - Excerpt.

And now for the most fun part, the world building excerpt. A little context here, the Living Goddess, Savaria Archana, was kidnapped and her temple destroyed. She escaped her captures but is lost in the woods. She's never been outside of the capitol city in her life and has never been completely alone anywhere before. She's spent the night in a tree, hiding from her kidnappers.

This excerpt of Voluntary Nightmare is a little longer than what I'll be turning in for the contest but makes for a bit more of a complete scene.

I don't know what goes on in this house while I'm gone, but do you care to explain why there are Mardi Gras beads on the computer room floor?

I promise stomach, I will call the doctor. I was going to hang out with friends today but I got too nauseous and came home. Sigh.

Hopefully by next week I'll know how much cash I'll get to go to Vegas. They were meeting today (helps that I know all of them well but there were a LOT of requests which is good. IT means our faculty aren't just resting on their laurels). I also found out from a friend of Mom's that the Vegas facebook AP is legit. She used it to get a free buffet, high tea and a free room! Now I'm not willing to BUY tokens but I will use what I get free from the game. I'm up to 12 grand and hit a 3 grand pot. Why the hell can't I do that in real life?

It snowed a quarter inch last night. they canceled EVERY school in a 50 mile radius and also failed to clear the roads. They love to act like we're in North Carolina and never see snow and panic when it comes every freaking week.
