Writerly Ways and other stuff

I have precious little to say this week because the promotion sucked all my time and I'm frantically working on homework for the students. I will make this short and sweet.

Writing = the fun and exciting part of the process.

Editing = the hard work, dullsville, bashing head against wall portion

Promotion = OMFG, WHY? This is the hardest part hands down. Thank god I'm gregarious. My one concern is there is no way of qualifying things. I have no idea if the blog tours, which take time, do diddly because outside of the one at the publisher I can count on my fingers how many people spoke to me. Does it help? Wish I knew.


It snowed and I was terribly nauseous so I didn't leave the house. But I don't know why I accomplished next to nothing other than to let Kanda escape to the outside. He wanted that stray female and she seemed to like him. I thought she'd freak but she rubbed all over him (She's already pregnant so it's not that). I caught his fat ass and dumped him inside.

One of my online homework assignments disappeared and NO ONE in a 20 person class said a goddamn word. I'm furious with them AND this 110$ system that doesn't work right.

No yearly count since I did no writing today. I will say this, Less than Three publishing has some weird submission rules so I have to go back and reformat the whole Project Fierce story. No curly quotations, no euphemisms (so no 'the detective, the elf' which strikes me as SO weird) a completely different paragraph formatting). Sigh.
