Sometimes I'm mean to it. Tonight I went out to Athens since it is Camp Nano but just as important, I needed to stop at the Farmacy for something for a lab experiment. I didn't want dinner at the Union Diner where the writers' group meets, I headed to Jackie O’s brew pub (no I don't know if this was named for THE Jackie O). I had a Black Betty Imperial Porter with hints of raspberry and vanilla. It was very good but the Meigs County Black India Pale Ale (a misnomer if ever I heard one) was outstanding with this strong but unidentifiable tail to it (citrus? resin?). Loved it. And since these were 7% and above beers, it was a nice kick to the pants. I ordered the oestrike pizza, white with onions artichokes and a goat-milk feta locally sourced. It was pricey but I have leftovers so no problem.

I toddled back to where I parked by the Union and joined the group and got some coffee. I was good. I only had the one cup out of the second carafe...and two before she gave me the carafe (yes, they know me there. It's like here's a carafe, call us when it's empty).

Got some actual writing done and the group gave me a setting for one of the attacks in my Love's Landscape story. It can't all be food places (i.e. the only thing I know). that was a help.

I did get home from work to find out the hospital called me about my MRI. Two weeks after I made the appt there's an issue with the prescribing doc. I gave them all this info. I will be ANNOYED if I must do it again. Annoyed more that they waited this long. Annoyed further that her hours are 7:00AM- 2:00pm because like that's helpful.
