Mom and Dad were giving Night Shift another try. they said it wasn't bad. It opens with a SURGEON in a cage fight (and apparently the trauma surgeon also brawls a lot). There is probably no way in holy hell a young surgeon is going to risk damage to his hands cage fighting. I got kicked and that's all it took. My surgery career was over and that was a work accident. Who in their right mind will risk 8 years of school, upwards of 8 MORE years of residency (and yes all the actors are in residency age range. put in someone in their damn 30s Hollywood if you want them to be full fledged docs and not residents) and ALL that student debt.
Speaking of student debt, screw you right back, Mr. President. Not that I expected you to help.
Working on the novella right now.
Just learned that the water was out in gallipolis for over a week. wow. glad I missed that (well i'm north of there but still)
Oh and that troll i was talking about yesterday rated the story generated by her own prompt barely a 3 star (and she was biases for it) and her only comment was, it wasn't what she wanted. Boy I hope I don't hear that from mine. I've only heard that once and it still pisses me off (but only because what they wanted didn't fit the prompt they gave AT ALL and it was for a challenge that had het and slash options. It was in the het but the person thought I'd magically know it should have been slash). Seriously I'd consider a research project in psych trying to figure out what goes on the head of people who get off trying to knock everything down. (but if she reviews mine, I already know to ignore her).
