My last day out.
Jun. 21st, 2014 09:47 pmWell technically tomorrow is but it was my last fun day. I went out to see my best friend from college. We went to South Hills Mall, probably for the last time. there is a lot of lasts coming up for me soon. SA is moving to Butler, up near my cousin. It's a bit far from her hubby's work but that's where he wants. It will be a longer drive to see her (like an hour longer) but they've needed a house since her son was born and he's 14. Her daughter is 5 and that tiny townhouse can't possibly contain them for longer.
We had a very good time. We both thought I wouldn't find button down shirts which would make my arm easier to deal with. We were wrong. Macy's had TONS. They were still a bit pricier but Macy's usually allows you to rook the system. I have all these coupons, 15$ off 40$ purchases so they allow people to use all their coupons as separate purchases. I saved nearly 60 $ and while I might not keep them all I have shirts. I'll still probably wear the crappy old ones to the hospital. And they are good enough to go to work even though I don't really like button downs because they always gap at the boobs butit looks like 1993-97 is back (this is when I remember there being so many button down 'men's shirt' types.
I will hand it to South Hills Mall. Rather than build a new mall not too far away and abandon this one, like SO MANY places do, they are facelifting this old mall. Thank you South Hills.
This morning I nearly ran over a doe and her twins in the drive way. They're always here on our property. IN fact even nearly getting smacked by my bumper she only ran to the back porch to give me the how dare you look?

rain_oubliette for the button pins of her cartoon and a really cool dragon mug that she probably got at the fairy festival that I really wish I could go to. check it out (it was hard to photograph for some reason. The band of dragons look distinctly Welsh.
And a happy Alban Hefin, Litha, Summer Solstice. Have yourself a nice phallic standing stone.
