A short writerly ways
Oct. 5th, 2014 10:07 pmBecause anything I might have had planned for this went flyin gout of my head when I learned Kept Tears is a Finalist in Gay paranormal romance Click the link to learn more. I'm still very happy.
The other thing I wanted to talk about was inspiration. I came across this tonight polyphonic singing For many years now I wanted to do a fantasy piece using sung magic, like since I read McCaffrey's The Crystal Singer back in middle school. This is what I had in mind. I need to remember it for somewhere down the road.
Nano made major changes and LOST all the data beyond 2011. So as of right now anything you did before that is gone. They're trying to recover it but their currently solution is to put it back in if you want it. Thanks for nothing. That annoys me
After thinking I was nearly ready to send in Soldiers of the Sun I realized the first half of the novel has Temple's pov referring to his parents as his mom/his dad and the last half has their names because of the whole epithet thing. Obviously I can't leave it half and half (insert cuss word here). I talked to the writers group at the publishing house and we all agree epithet schmepithet, people do not think of their parents by name routinely so I'm going to go thru the giant process (hold me) or making it all just mom and dad (or Maman and Pere as the case may be).
And thanks to
angelfirenze for the virutal cookie! Much appreciated (though to me this IS ice cream weather. I had the windows open until it kicked the heater set for 63 on)
FINALLY got my damn storage unit. Put the 4 boxes from the kitchen closet in it and put 4 boxes of books in the closet and did other things and it looks like I didn't touch this place. That said my ARMS know I did things. OMG the pain.
