A good end to the week.

The first round of my student presentations nailed it. They did really great including two I worried about a little. One even presented novel research she and another student are working on.

Went back to Athens to the steak house with EB,AN and Thall and RI from work and their S.Os (where applicable). Let me just say this, NEVER go to that steak house on a friday unless you're like us, there at 5. Holy fuck the line was halfway into the building, in the lobby AND outside. I couldn't want steak that much.

And it's that time of year. I enjoy doing drabbles and shorts for friends (on fandom_stocking and here too). I think most of you know my fandoms but just in case here's some of them X-Files, Buffyverse, Star Trek (any) The Big Bang Theory, and I could probably wing Constantine, Sleepy Hollow and Dr Who (9-12 since don't know the 20th cen. Docs). Anime/Manga wise, Fullmetal Alchemist, Saiyuki, Blue Exorcist, Attack on Titan, Ghost Hunt and no doubts scads more that I'm too full of sugar to remember (I had donuts. Bad Dana, bad bad). Just give me a couple characters and maybe a prompt. I'll give it a try (though since I write limited slash, either ask me first or it might just be a buddy fic). For that matter, MY original universes are fair game too.

And to make the day better after that big fight I had with DISH yesterday, all my channels are back. I bet I wasn't the ONLY one to threaten to go to Direct. Yay Cartoon Network I've missed you.

I was happy to see the person who took out ALL of Attack on Titan brought back # 11 & 12 (probably after realizing I had 9 & 10 so bwahahaha) so I have them out of the library now but some jackass ran off with Vinland Saga omnibus #2. Bah. Some days I hate teens.
