Ready to go

I'm taking off tomorrow morning. It should be an interesting trip on a cramped plane into rain and potential tornadoes. Wheee.

I'll be staying at the haunted Menger Hotel. Mae West used to stay here. I hope I'm in the old wing so I can pretend I have the same room.

I booked the all day tour because it's about the only way I can see everything in one day. It should be good. I took the numbers for the ghost tour and I had to give up (for now) on the cave because I have no way out there but that's okay. I AM supposed to be there for a conference after all.

I AM getting annoyed that they assume everyone has a smartphone and coverage because it was almost impossible to book. I need to have an email too for some of these so I'm taking Mom's computer with me since mine can't go online any more. I see I have to up my tech later this year.

The Menger has complimentary wifi (huzzah!). I should be able to check in with my stuff. Here's hoping the rain lets up so I can wander the riverwalk.

I'll be back home in a week.
