So now I have my doctor's appointment

FINALLY. I'll have my new gastroenterologist in two weeks. This only took forever and now I found out that my normal medical mega-system has outsourced their fucking records. I can't get to them without going through hoops AND paying. I tossed that mess into the new GE's lap and they're like what IS this? The ruination of medicine obviously.

By chance I ran into another friend in the library and she reminded me that the entire English department is heading to Canada for a Shakespearean festival so this is going to be interesting in terms of a memorial service. They're taking students and it's costing an arm and leg (I was invited but my family was supposed to be here this week) so I don't see them canceling.

And thanks for all the condolences. 2015 has just sucked with all the deaths.

A book I won from Goodreads made it here today from Canada. IN Hardback. With not only an autograph but multiple autographed bookmarks AND a stationary card telling me she hoped I like it. Nice.

Also I'm 100 pages into Butcher's steampunk...yet to find the plot. It's a strange thing
