The Doctor Says
Dec. 9th, 2015 10:44 pmyeah I have no idea. They come talk to you when you're high as a kite. I remember him saying there was a lot of irritation but nothing major like ulcers or barrett's esophagus.
I'm sure he said more but I'll have to ask my driver tomorrow when my blood isn't pure versed and demerol. The sad part is I had ALL those IV narcotics and my hip pain wasn't even touched. Yikes. I know there is nothing major wrong since my follow up isn't til March so basically same old same old.
It was funny, my Viking doctor is a SF geek and was all dorky when he saw me in the pre op space reading Alliance Justice. Is it any good? I'm just starting (actually I'm 50 pages in now and could not give a damn I'm so bored) but it won FIVE major SF awards. He whipped out his phone and snapped pictures of it so he could go find it. In the process he accidentally turned on his music and no surprise it was in Norweigan.
I've spent the day in a fog of course. I didn't sleep all night. Didn't sleep when I came home either. Given how much the back of my throat hurts the camera was the size of a man's leg and he rammed it through the back of my head.
In the moments I did sleep last night I had a very intricate dream but I can't remember almost any of it. I woke up thinking well this sounds like a story and was annoyed since I really don't like past lives stories. I was a young dark haired man in this dream and a group of men pulled me into a gothic house to get me out of the way of 'something bad.' When I crossed the threshold we all blinked to our past lives where I was a very blonde prince charming type and they were my knights in shining armor. Sadly that's all I remember.
Also it was a brutal drive down. It was too early in the morning that started too cold but the water is still warm and Rt 2 follows the Ohio River. Can you say FOGGY?
