It was gorgeous today. Truly.
Let me get the whining out of the way first. Remember me saying I stopped eating my precious Costco snack of dehydrated chick peas because I was afraid I'd break a tooth. Sure enough, it must have cracked one and it fell out last night. Naturally there's a HUGE filling to rip my tongue to ribbons. Thankfully my dentist has a spot a week from today (unlike last time where I waited for WEEKS). I will make sure he binds the temp to this unlike last time as well. I'm beginning to wonder about him though. I kept the tooth since there are two big brown spots that go all the way thru. So tell me again how this tooth wasn't bad. ALso it was almost one year and one month exactly since I broke that other tooth.
I'm rather annoyed with the eye doctor. They didn't send me an appointment notice to schedule like usual and I'm two months past my time (we're short handed) uh huh. He's booked til june. I mentioned that I might have to find someone else since I'm out of the state then and wouldn't be back til August. Miraculously a spot opened at the end of April. Uh huh.
I was very excited to go to the steampunk party in the Hocking Hills. I was imagining the setting for my Athens trio's next story and realized it's the same day that I'm supposed to go to see the stomach doc in Huntington. I've already put him off once. Sigh. I AM truly thinking of going to the steampunk symposium in Cincinnatti though.
I'm very excited because Stephen King is supposed to be in Dayton and Huntington. I want to see him (the group who forgot me for Gaiman let me know about the latter and another friend about the former.
Mom and I went to the casino and I did manage to make a pig of myself at the buffet in spite of the broken tooth and my sliced tongue. I stunk up the joint with my loserness. Mom won 400$ almost. We had fun if nothing else.
Can't believe half my break is over.
Still need to get eyes on my Weird West story (and to FINISH it) anyone interested?
And 2016's death march continues. A friend lost her father today.
